PhD Scholarship for Science Education at Curtin University

Two PhD scholarships (covering the living stipend for three years), funded by an Australian Research Council (ARC) Discovery Project grant, are available for the holders to conduct research in a project that investigates students’ interactions in drawing science diagrams and their benefits in enhancing students’ scientific creativity. The PhD students will work with high school science teachers to develop teaching materials, video-record classroom interactions, conduct interviews, analyse class videos and diagrams, and write peer-reviewed journal articles.
